Enjoy this tomato, cheese, and tuna crostone as a healthy and light snack. It can be consumed two hours before exercising or as a mid-morning snack!
Ingredients
- 4 slices of rye bread
- 80 g of fresh cheese
- 4 sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 can of 120 g of tuna in olive oil
- 20 g of capers
- Parsley
Preparation
- Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or in the oven until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Spread a generous layer of fresh/white cheese on each slice.
- Distribute the strips of sun-dried tomato evenly over the cheese.
- Place the lightly flaked tuna over the fresh/white cheese.
- Add capers to taste on each toast.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top to add a touch of freshness.
- Extra: Drizzle a little more extra virgin olive oil from the can over the toast.
