Razor Clams citric salad

Fresh and flavorful, this salad is a crowd-pleaser for any gathering, from casual picnics to elegant dinners. Tender razor clams, juicy orange segments, and sweet cherry tomatoes come together with crisp mixed greens, creating a refreshing dish that's sure to impress


  • 1 can of razor clams in natural juice
  • 1 orange
  • 150g cherry tomatoes
  • Mixed lettuce (you can use romaine lettuce, arugula, spinach, etc.)
  • Edible flowers (such as calendulas or pansies) for decoration
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Drain the razor clams and place them in a bowl.

  2. Peel the orange and cut it into segments or supremes. Set aside.

  3. In a small bowl prepare the vinaigrette, mix 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil with 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

  4. Wash and halve the cherry tomatoes.

  5. On a large plate or individual plates, place a bed of mixed lettuce

  6. Arrange the drained razor clams over the lettuce.

  7. Add the orange segments and cherry tomatoes on top of the razor clams.

  8. Drizzle the prepared vinaigrette over the salad.

  9. Decorate with some edible flowers to give it a fresh and colorful touch.

  10. Serve the salad immediately to keep it fresh and allow the flavors to blend well.
