Reserva Sardines - in Spicy Olive Oil

Stored for a minimum period of 36 months, these unique preserves are limited, reflecting the exceptional catch of one single year. The reserve batch is meticulously chosen during the fresh fish catching season, a phase when sardines showcase their best nutritional and flavor qualities. These excellent sardines are combined with equally distinguished ingredients such as olive oil, cucumber, chili, carrot, salt, cloves, black pepper, and bay leaf. The reserve batch, the best among the best, is elected by an in-house tasting panel at Pinhais. During the maturation period, never less than three years, a manual inversion of the can positions occurs every six months, enhancing the harmonization between the fish, olive oil, and other ingredients.
